Loving The Lake||Eren X Pregnant!Reader||

"Good morning beautiful." Eren's soft voice woke you up from your deep slumber. You opened your eyes slowly, to met with soft teal ones. He grinned, and placed his hand on your cheek. You hummed lovingly as he stroked your cheek with his thumb.

"Good morning Eren.." You whispered quietly while leaning forward and kissing him briefly. He chuckled, then trailed his hand down to your waist and pulling you against his body. You buried your head in his bare chest, while nuzzling him softly.

"Come on sleepy head, lets go down to the lake today." He said against your (h/c) hair. You shot your eyes open and sat up abruptly. l

"What about the titans-Ow!" You placed your hand on your stomach, and groaned in pain. Eren leaned over and placed his hand on it, trying to calm you down.

"Did you forget? The titans are gone (y/n)." You blinked a few times before remembering that the titans were exterminated two months ago. You laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back on your neck.

"Oh right, I guess I'm still waking up." He chuckled lightly and pulled you in for another kiss. His lips moved slowly and gently, against yours, leaving butterflies in the lowest pit of your belly. He released and stared at your stomach happily.

"Be more careful when sitting up (y/n), you don't want to hurt him." You nudged him lightly with your elbow, and removed the covers from your body over to him. You stood up, and stretched your arms over your head while yawing loudly. Eren ruffled his chocolate brown hair, before standing up and walking over to you on the other side of the bed. You looked out the large window that overlooked a large lake surrounded by trees.

He came up behind you and wrapped his arms around your torso, while placing his lips against the back of your neck. You rested your hands over his arms that held you tightly, and admired the view outside. "So, are you up for going to the lake today? I invited Mikasa and Armin." You sighed and turned around to face him, so that your hands on were his chest, and he held your waist.

"Sure, that sounds fun." You replied. He smiled and kissed the top of your head before turning around and heading to his wardrobe. You did the same, picking out a white laced top, and a long brown skirt the went to your ankles. Eren turned to you and smiled at your appearance.

"You look beautiful." He complimented. You blushed and looked away while grabbing your skirt tightly.

"T-Thank you..Eren." You stuttered. He let out a deep chuckle, which made you blush harder, while you walked out of the bedroom. He followed closely behind you, while stretching his arms over his head and yawning. You walked into your tiny, but homey kitchen, grabbing a tea pot then pouring water into it. You let it sit on the stove while walking over to your old, beat up couch, and sitting next to Eren carefully. He was admiring the view outside from where he was sitting, while his beautiful, sparkling eyes glistened in the sunlight.

You took a few seconds to appreciate the human being next to you, it was nice to see him so relaxed, after all the hell he had been through. You two first met in training, and in the beginning, you weren't to fond of each other. But once you met Mikasa, and became a best friend of hers, you were kind of forced to talk to him. After three years, the two of you were close friends, and joining the Survey Corps together strengthen your bond. Once you found out he was a titan shifter, you didn't push him a away, or call him a monster like others did. You did your best to comfort him in his days where he was depressed, even when he full out outraged, you weren't frighten, you knew he was just scared.

"Eren..." You spoke to him in a soft tone. He looked over to you and smiled sweetly.

"Yes?" He questioned while putting his arm over you.

"Remember when I confessed to you?" He took a deep breath and put his head back on the couch, while laughing to himself.

"Yeah, what a day..."

~*Flashback*~

"Eren!" You shouted up to him. He was in his titan form that day, and Hanji was doing an experiment on if he could understand people. He looked down to you, his intense green eyes still as breathtaking as ever, even as a titan. He let out a loud groan while bending down and lowering his hand down to you. Your eyes widen, as he lifted his index finger up and down, signaling for you to hop on. You giggled, while jumping onto his hand, then letting him bring you up to his face. His skin was hotter than the average human, but then again, he's a titan, what did you expect?

Once you were close enough to his face that you could hold onto his nose, you looked into his eyes and smiled. He let out a sweet sounding noise, that almost sounded loving. You chuckled and pet his nose gently, earning another loving sound from him. You were going to confess you feelings to Eren today, so why not just do it now? It's not like he'll remember it, but at least you could practice. "Oi, Eren." You greeted. He just stared at your figure, while blinking slowly. You sighed and leaned towards his nose, resting your chin on it. "I know you wont remember this but, I just want to say that.." You paused and took a deep breath. "I (y/n), (l/n), love you. And I will continue loving you till the day I die." You giggled at your formal confession, it's not what you would've done, but since he wont remember, you thought you would have some fun.

His eyes seemed to widen, but you weren't entirely sure. You decided to kiss his nose, earning the same noise as earlier. "Well, hopefully I'll have the courage to actually confess to you today..you know, when you can actually remember this." You sighed as he lowered his hand down, to let you off. "Bye Eren!" You waved to him as you walked away.

~*Time skip*~

You were in the nurses office, watching Eren as he slept. He seemed so peaceful while sleeping, you'd always wonder what was going inside that big mind of his, probably a lot of things. He suddenly opened his eyes slowly, meeting with your (e/c) orbs. You grinned happily as he yawned and rubbed his eyes. He stopped suddenly, then shot up abruptly while his face was flustered beat red. You titled your head to the side, while you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.

"What's wrong Eren?" You questioned. He looked left and right before meeting with your eyes, with a shocked expression. "Did you have a nightmare? It's okay, you're in the nurses office." You tried to comfort him. He then shook his head and rubbed the bride of his nose. "Eren?"

"(Y/n)..." He sighed then made eye contact with you. "I remember everything." You widened your eyes, remembering what you said to him while he was in his titan form. You backed up in your chair, as it made a squeaking noise, while you blushed madly.

"Uh Uh, I-I can explain!" You stuttered while grabbed onto your shirt tightly. He chuckled while leaning forward and placing his hand on your leg. You yelped at the contact and covered your face with your shirt.

"Don't worry (y/n), I love you too." He confessed. You stood still for a second before peaking one eye out of your shirt and lifting an eyebrow up.

"Y-You do?" He nodded as you scooted closer to his bed.

"Ever since we started becoming closer..it just..happened." He shrugged. You chuckled nervously and rubbed the back on your neck. 

"Uh..well..that's not really how I wanted to confess, I thought you wouldn't remember it.." You said while drifting off. He laughed slightly while grabbing your cheek, then pulling you in for a kiss.

~*Back to present time*~

"You're funny, you know that (y/n)?" He pointed you. You nudged him lightly with your elbow and chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah, I know." You suddenly heard the screaming of the tea pot in the kitchen, making you jump slightly. "I'll get that."

"No, let me, you shouldn't move that much, considering your pregnant." You rolled your eyes, as he got up and walked to the kitchen. He came back with two cups that held tea, while he leaned towards you, giving you one cup, then kissing your forehead. You pushed him away lightly and sipped on your tea. You hummed in delight as the sweet liquid met your lips.

"I love this tea, it's my favorite~" You pointed out. Suddenly, the sound of knocking was heard at your door, as Eren quickly placed his tea down on the coffee table in front of you, he then walked to the door. He opened it with no hesitation, greeting the two guest in front of him.

"Mikasa! Armin! Welcome!" He shouted. You placed your tea down, then stood up, while walking to the door.

"Hello Armin, Hello Mikasa." You smiled sweetly. Mikasa nodded and smiled at the sight of your stomach that had grown. Armin grinned brightly while greeting his best friend, then you.

"So when are we heading down to the lake?" Armin questioned.

"How about now?" You suggested. Eren looked at you with concern, as you titled your head in confusion. "What's wrong?" You asked.

"Are you sure you want to go now? You haven't finished your tea." He said while pointing his thumb towards the living room. You laughed and put your hands on your hips.

"Oh forget about the tea Eren, let's go!" You shouted while sticking you tongue out at him. He rolled his eyes, as he walked away to grab his and yours shoes.

"So (y/n)." Mikasa said while looking at your stomach. You smiled and hummed to show you were listening. "I can tell your stomach has grown, are you excited?" She asked. You nodded your head and rubbed your stomach gently. Even though your stomach wasn't HUGE, it was still clearly visible that you were pregnant.

"Yeah I am, I'm happy I can raise a baby in a world free of titans, well..you know, with the exception of Eren." You and Mikasa giggled while looking behind you to see Eren holding a pair of shoes for you.

"Here you go (y/n)." He handed over your brown, slipper like, shoes. You bent over, placing them on your feet, as you held onto Eren for balance.

"Okay! Let's go!" You shouted excitedly while walking past Mikasa and Armin.

~*Time skip _{brought to you by the tea you left behind}*~

"Come on (y/n) and Mikasa! Join us!" Armin yelled for the both of you, as him and Eren splashed around in the lake.

"Armin! She's pregnant remember? She can't play too rough!" Eren reminded.

"Oh yeah, sorry (y/n)!" Armin shouted while continuing to splash Eren in the face. You rolled your eyes, and chuckled lightly.

"Eren's really protective over you isn't he?" Mikasa said while she stared at you. You nodded your head and sighed.

"Yeah, I mean like, I could go in there if I wanted to, I just wouldn't play around so much!" You barked while crossing your arms. Mikasa sighed and rested her head against a tree you two were sitting by. Eren suddenly came up to you two, with his body and pants soaking wet, while his bare chest and tousled brown hair dripped with water.

"You can go hang out with Armin, Mikasa, I don't want you to miss out on the all the fun, I'll keep (y/n) company." Eren dismissed. She nodded while standing up, then heading down to the lake. Eren sat next to you, with his shoulder and thigh touching yours. You blushed while you watched him ruffle his hair with his broad hand, sending lake water towards your face.

"Eren! Be more careful! You're getting water all over me!" You complained. His eyes widen as he saw your face dripping with water.

"O-Oh sorry (y/n)!" He apologized. You laughed as you rested your head on his shoulder, even though it soaked your hair.

"I can't wait to raise our child here." You said dreamily. Eren hummed and placed his hand on your stomach, while petting it soothingly.

"I can't wait to raise a mini me!" He said excitedly. You pouted and punched him lightly.

"Hey! You never know! It could be a mini me!" You yelled. He groaned, then kissed the top of your head. You started off into the lake, while imagining Eren with your guys child on top of his shoulders. You then started to think of something that made you laugh, so you started to laugh quietly to yourself. He looked at you with confusion as you started to laugh louder.

"What's so funny?" He questioned.

"Oh, I was just imagining you in your titan form with our child in your hand, overlooking the lake."

"Well, that's not a bad idea." He said. You looked up to him and smiled warmly, as he intertwined your fingers with his. "I love you so much (y/n)." He said while kissing your lips briefly.

"I love you too Eren." You whispered against his lips.

"Hey! Eren! Get back in here!" Armin screamed to him. Eren rolled his eyes and looked at you for approval.

"Go ahead Eren, you need to have fun until it's due." You grinned brightly at him.

"Thanks (y/n)." He said while kissing your forehead, then running down to the lake. You watched him as he tripped over and fell face first into the lake.

You laughed loudly, enough for tears to form in the corners on your eyes.

"You dork!" You called at him from above. He smirked towards you, and continued to swim towards Mikasa and Armin.

Oh Eren..How are you going to manage to be a father?
