Gift Exchange ||Various X Reader||

Oh Christmas, a beloved holiday by all. Spend time with family and friends, open presents, and get fat over dinner. And if you're at the age, drink until you drop.

It was one of your favorite holidays.

As you were walking down to the Mess Hall for breakfast, you were stopped by the captain himself. You blinked a few times, then saluted. "H-Heichou! How may I assist you?" He sighed, and handed you a piece of paper.

"You're invited to the gift exchange tonight, don't be late brat." He spat, then turned around to walk to his office. You looked down at the paper and tilted your head.

You're welcome to the Gift Exchange at 7:00 tonight. We will exchange gifts and have fun! So do your Christmas shopping, and don't be late!

"Gift exchange huh? Well, this is new." You chuckled, then continued to walk down the hallway.

It was about 3:00 in the afternoon, and you had 5 hours until the event. As you plopped down on your bed after a long day of running back and forth sending messages, you pondered whether or not to get ready or just take a nap. Then it all of a sudden hit you.

"Wait! I have to go buy gifts!" You shot up abruptly, and rushed out your door. As you were running down the hallway, you ran into Krista and knocked her over unintentionally.

"Ahh!" She screamed while she fell onto her stomach harshly. You turned around and gave a concerned look.

"Krista! I'm so, so sorry!" You bent down, and offered the shocked girl a hand. "I was in a rush, I'm sorry."

"Oh no, don't worry about it! I know it was an accident, where are you going anyway?" She questioned innocently. You pulled her up and dusted her shoulders, then fixed her golden hair.

"I'm off to go buy presents for the gift exchange, I almost forgot." You smiled awkwardly.

"Oh gosh! I forgot as well! Can I go with you (Y/n)?" She pleaded, while giving a worried look. You chuckled and nodded.

"Sure! I guess we're both kind of forgetful." She grinned brightly, while your gestured for her to follow you speeding to the exit.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Look at this!" Krista chirped as she held up a violet hand made scarf. "Isn't it beautiful! I wonder how much it is--" She stopped as she picked up the price tag, and realized the price. "Oh, eheheh, nevermind." She frowned, then placed it back down. You ran up to the stand while she continued to walk down the street.

Making sure she wasn't looking, you threw the money at the clerk and stuffed the scarf in your bag. You smiled, and ran towards the girl. "Kriissttaa! Wait for me!"

She turned around and giggled. "Sorry (Y/n)!" You soon enough caught up to her, and continued to look at all the stands, wondering what to buy for all your friends. "Hmmm...Lets see...We've got Eren's, Sasha's, Connie's, Mikasa's, Armin's, Ymir's, Hanji's, Erwin's, Renier's...All we need are.."

"Jean's and Levi's." You interrupted. _{A/N Aha, I made an accidental pun xD You get it? Levi's are jeans? No? Okay -.-'}

Krista smiled and gave a thumbs up. "Right! I almost forgot Levi's, thank walls you remembered!" You nodded, and looked to your left.

"Hey! Look at that!" You picked up a horse mask and smiled mischievously. "This fits Jean perfectly...lets get it!" Krista started to laugh hysterically while you gave the money to the clerk. "So we just have to get Levi's present and then we're good." You both nodded, and finished up your shopping.

~*Time Skip to Gift Exchange*~

You sat down in a circle of chairs, and grinned as you saw everyone was here. They were all smiling, laughing, and just having a good time. And for once, you all had a turkey! You were grateful for everything that was happening in front of you, and plus, you were surrounded by all the people you love.

"Okay everyone! Time for the gift exchange! Please get your gifts, and give them to your chosen people!" Hanji announced. Everyone scrambled to grab their gifts, and began to give people their present. Jean and Eren were the first to run over to you, and started to fight who would give you their present first.

"Me first horseface!'

"Not in your dreams suicidal bastard!" The two growled at each other like dogs, as you just sat there and watched in amusement.

"Boys, boys, I will choose who goes first, and that would be Jean, because I have the best present for him!" You chuckled. Jean cheered, as Eren pouted and whined like a child. Jean handed you a small purple box and smirked. You opened it slowly, and furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. You looked up to Jean and gave him a fake smile, as you picked up a thick bar out of the box.

"Soap? Oh..Uh..Thanks!" You smelt the soap, and recognized it as lavender. "It smells wonderful!" Jean fist pumped, as you grabbed his present from behind your seat. "Here's yours, hope you like it." You giggled, as he ripped open the present, and his mouth dropped. Eren widened his eyes, then laughed his ass off.

"A-A horse mask??" Jean questioned loudly. You started to laughed, as Eren fell onto floor and started to tear up from laughing so hard.

"T-Try it on J-Jean! I hope it fits!" He sighed, and placed the mask over his head slowly. Eren then stood up, and jumped on his back for a piggy back ride.

"Come on horsey ride! Ride!" He screamed. Jean ran away from you, attempting to get Eren off his back.

"You piece of shit! Get off me! I'm not a horse--"

"Shut up Horseface! Horses don't talk!" Eren interrupted, while swinging an imaginary rope. You laughed loudly, then realized a small figure approaching you shyly.

"(Y/n)? I got you a present!" Krista handed you a tiny, velvet box, and waited for your reaction. You grabbed her present, and gave it to her. She smiled, and opened up he gift slowly.

You did the same, and widened your eyes as you saw what it was. "Oh my gosh...Krista I--"

"HUH?! (Y/n)! The scarf!" She dropped the bag, and held the scarf out in front of her. "How did you get this when I wasn't looking!?" She screamed in  excitement, then embraced you in a hug. "Thank (Y/n)! Thank you, Thank you!!"

"No problem! And gosh, Krista! This ring! I've wanted this for so long! How did you know?" It was a simple ring, it was a silver, and had had outlines of angel wings. "I love it, thank you so much." You smiled as she nodded, and walked over to Renier to give him a present. You smiled at the ring, and placed it on your middle finger then admired it closely.

"Okay everyone! In a few minutes, we're going to start a drinking game! So finish up~!" Hanji announced cheerfully. You rolled your eyes while smiling, and grabbed all your presents to give out.

This is why Christmas was your favorite time of year!
