Months Later Since Carriage Incident

You placed a small flower crown atop of your head, smiling as it fit perfectly.
That smile soon drifted away, as you dropped your hands onto your lap and a slight curve down on your lips appeared. "A few days..." You sighed softly. "..A few...days..."

Was this what you really wanted? Sure, you and Levi had your bumps in the road, but something felt off since that carriage incident. You felt your heart skip a beat at the thought of his arms tightly holding your figure against his body.
   
You kept repeating this thought over and over again, until a soft knock was heard at the door. "C-Come in!" You stuttered.

 Levi bursted through the door--shocking you--than slowly laid on the bed. "Levi? What are you doing?"

 "You know what your mom wants?"

 You titled your head, and gracefully sat on the bed next to him.
   
"She wants children." He coughed in disgust. "--lots of them." You covered your mouth, trying to suppress a laugh, but it obviously was not working.

 "Bwahaha Oh gosh Levi! She's not serious! Haha!" He looked over to you with a horrified look. The laugh slowly died down, turning into an awkward chuckle. "She's not joking isn't she.." 

He shook his head.

You groaned, and fell backwards onto the bed next to him. "Oh well, it's not like we have to worry about it for---WAIT A MINUTE!" You shot up, with a dumbfounded look. Levi facepalmed, and hit the back of your head.

"The wedding is in a few days idiot." He exhaled as he got up and walked back over to the door. "Come on (Y/n), I want to take you somewhere."  You followed him, but not before you placed the flower crown back on your dresser.

"Where?" You queried.

"Somewhere."

You swore you saw a slight smile form on his cracked lips.

--*Time Skip*--

The both of you walked for about 25 minutes, until you made your way up onto the top of a blank hill. Your hair swayed side to side, as you watched Levi take a pot out of his jacket. "Is that...a sapling?" You curiously peaked over his shoulder.

"Yeah, here, we're going to plant it here..Together."

Together.

_Together.

For some reason, you felt a fiery sensation in the middle of your chest, you just...couldn't pin point what it was.

"Come over here stupid, I'm not doing it myself." Levi growled. You snapped yourself back into reality, as you trotted over to him.

"S-Sorry, here." You were about to dig a hole to put the plant in, before he stopped you.

"No, let me do this part." You watched as he dug out a decent size hole with his hands. "There, now we can put the plant in together."

You nodded, and gave him a cheeky grin. He widened he eyes, and immediately averted his gaze away from you.

You blushed, What? Since when could Levi be...Cute? Shaking off the thought, the both of you grabbed the bottom of the plant.

"Eek!" You shrieked as you felt his cold and rough hands touch yours, resulting in abandoning the plant.

"What are you doing--"

"Sorry! S-Sorry! I didn't mean to! I- I-" Your voice cracked as you panicked.

"(Y/n), It's okay, the plant is fine." He picked it up again, and allowed you to hold onto it. You blushed furiously, but you finally led the sapling into the hole along with Levi.

You patted the dirt, securing the your new little friend. The two of you stood up, and admired it's beauty. "Soon, it'll grow up to be a big, beautiful tree...Wont it Levi?"

He nodded.

You turned around, and noticed a gorgeous orange, purple, and yellow sunset. "Wow.." You said out like you were out of breath. Levi turned around, and quietly admired the sunset with you.

This is just like in the stories...Isn't it (Y/n)? You chuckled at yourself. Yes, yes it is.. You turned your head to the left to look a Levi, and was stunned by how close his face was to you.

2 inches.

You couldn't move, your heart was beating like a drum out of your chest. You face was as red as the sunset, and your eyes stung with tears.

Why couldn't you move? Or more importantly...Why couldn't he move? His eyes were enlarged, and the hands that were in his pockets stiffened with shock. 

It's like the two of you were frozen in time.

He gradually closed his eyes...and as if it was instinct, you did the same, as you both leaned into each other.

Levi stopped, his lips only a centimeter away from yours. You could feel his hot breath breathe down your chin and down your neck, powerfully shooting shivers through your body. You didn't even notice that you were gripping tightly onto his sleeve with one hand.

The anticipation was killing you...What was going to happen next?

Was he actually going to kiss you?

He halfway opened his eyes and hesitated.  "Sorry." He opened his eyes, and backed up to his original position, resulting in you letting go of his shirt. "Come on, lets head back."

You blinked as you watched him waddle down the hill. Now looking at the dark sky, a brim of tears filled your vision. What would've happened if our lips touched?

You softly ran your finger across your lips, seeking that pair that would make you complete.

You finished dinner in a quiet manner, and Levi already finished early.

You now made it back to your room, having no idea where Levi went. Closing the door delicately, you walked over to the middle of your room and fell onto your knees.

A blank expression spread across your face as you looked down at the amber wood floor with tears on it.
"_{Why didn't he kiss me?}" You inaudibly whispered. You finally knew what you wanted, and there was no going back.

You unanticipatedly felt warm arms wrap around your shoulders, and knees hit your back gingerly.

You turned your head quickly towards the figure, and was surprised to find Levi. "Le--"

"(Y/n)." He interrupted. Your lips closed, and you waited for Levi to continue.

But he didn't say anything, he just turned you around to face him, and then put a piece of loose hair behind your ear. You were dismayed by how kindly he was treating you.

"Levi..What's wrong--" You were once interrupted again, but this time he pushed you over, pinning your arms to the ground.

A yelp escaped from your lips, and a coat of red spread across your face. You didn't know of to react, so you said nothing as you tried to make out his expression. His hair was covering his eyes, and the room was dark, making it impossible to see.

But without warning, he leaned down to your forehead and kissed it gently. Then he dragged his lips down your nose, and above your lip, stopping at that point.

Your heart was bursting, and your lips were at a lost for words. He brought one of his hands up to caress your cheek, and then brought his lips down to meet with yours.

He waited, as you both savored the moment of your lips just touching...

Not moving.

Just, against each other, while breathing deeply.

He took this moment to whip the tears away with his thumb.

This time, you thought he was really going to kiss you.

But no, he put his head down, to avoid your lips.

"Levi.." You whispered. He sat up and scooted away while ruffling his sexy black hair.

"I'm really sorry, I guess my body had a mind of it's own for a minute." He deeply chuckled. You sat up and crawled over to him, while he bit his lip. "I know this is a arranged marriage, and I know you don't feel this way about me....and I've already tried to kiss you once...God dammit (Y/n)." He gritted his teeth, and you faintly continued to make your way over to him. "...I'm so...Sor--"

"Levi Ackerman." You halted him. He looked up with an expression of falling apart. You grabbed his neck with your soft hands, and forced him to touch noses with you. "For once...will you shut the fuck up?"

His eyes broadened with the use of language you used, but they disappeared as you smashed your lips against his.

You moved your lips in sync, and you both savored the moment for as long as possible. You grabbed his hair, as he held your waist against his body. 

The moment was as perfect as you could imagine.

You--well--both of you finally knew what you wanted.

"(Y/n)...I..."





--*WEDDING DAY*--

"Do you, (Y/n), (L/n), take Levi Ackerman to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"And do you, Levi Ackerman, take (Y/n), (L/n) to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

...

"I do."

"You may now kiss the bride."

Cheers and screams were heard as Levi took your figure, and landed his lips perfectly against yours.

All you could say was that it left you breathless.

The after party was amazing, the dance with your dad was well...Unique.

Until the two of you finally went back home after a long night.

You took of your dress, and all you could think was, Finally! This dress was so uncomfortable! 

You got into the same pajamas Levi sewed back up for you when you first met. You chuckled as you looked at yourself in the mirror. "Memories, huh Levi?" You looked back, and he watched you smile at him, as he unbuttoned his shirt.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He slid the shirt off his arms, and then proceeded to take off his shoes. You pouted, and stomped childishly over to him.

"Yes you do...baka." You slapped his bare arm playfully. He slightly smiled, as he gave you the sweetest look you have ever seen since you met him.

You blushed, but couldn't take your eyes off him. His grey orbs were sparkling due to the moonlight coming in from your curtains, and his hair flowed to the left due to the open window.

He also took this time to admire your blushing features. You gorgeous (e/c) eyes, and your hair that also swayed gently to the side.

It was all so perfect.

He threw his arms toward you, picking you up, then placing you on the bed with him atop of you. You both smiled, not feeling the slightest bit uncomfortable with each other.

He drifted towards your rounded, pink lips and kissed them tenderly and lightly. You placed your arms around his neck, and continued to embrace the moment.

"L-Levi." You stuttered under embarrassment. He lifted only slightly from your lips, and looked at you half lidded; in the eyes with his gleaming grey orbs. "..I think it's time I say this.." You whispered. He rested his face on your cheek and and smiled. "I--"

"(Y/n)..." He shushed you, and then brought his face up to lock eyes with you. You made an "o" shape with your lips and titled your head slightly.

"...I love you."

You smiled lovingly, with a slight tint of pink across your cheeks. You then swiftly brought your head up to his ear...




We were looking for each other but it took you longer

to realize that when I saw you the search was over.

I knew that sooner or later you'd have to see the truth,

that back when you didn't care I was caring for us two.

I was losing my faith but you catched me right on time,

and now when I look into your eyes I see what you see in mine,

and I know that you know how I've always loved you.
